RV does not show values in PDF

I have a report variable (Global) in the page header.  In my UBE (Do Section of the Driver section), I checked to see if any of the processing options are filled out, if not then I stop batch processing and write to this RV a text like "Missing Processing Options". I can see the value in the debugger but I don't see it in the PDF. You know why?

If there's a better way to let people know then please let me know.
