Not able to perform Renewal Consolidation

Hi

We are not able to perform Renewal Consolidation on subscription contract.

Oracle Version 12.1.3

Contact Category :- Subscription Contract

Line Type = Subscription

1)We have the renewed contract#1 (Target Contract) in Entered status with start Dt: 16-NOV-2016 and End Dt : 15-NOV-2017

2)and another Contract#2 (Source Contract) in Active status with start Dt: 16-NOV-2016 and End Dt : 15-MAY-2017

3)both contract has same subscription item /renewal type/customer account.

When right clicked on Renewal Consolidation for contract#1 - "Target Contract is invalid"  error is shown. Can some one help me on this.
