stream AQ events

we are facing some performance issues in one of the core database of the company , these issues are impacting directly in the customer experience. I found some notes with queries and information to determine the top wait events in the database. In the top 10 i found the following events:

SQL*Net message from dblink 

Streams AQ: qmn slave idle wait 

Streams AQ: qmn coordinator idle wait 

Streams AQ: waiting for time management or cleanup tasks

db file sequential read

log file sync

log file parallel write

db file scattered read

I don't know why we have these Streams AQ events, kindly let us know if this is normal otherwise what should we do with this events.  Database version 10.2.0.4 running, OS version AIX 6
