What is the way of integration between cloud and on premise (EBS)

My Payroll is in on EBS, and other all data will be on cloud and we are going to run the Payroll on EBS ,so to process the payroll on EBS we will require data like all person related and assignment related data of the employees etc, which will be actually on Cloud ,so how this data can be imported from Fusion to EBS .

In short how EBS will sync up with cloud to get the required input data to process the Payroll
