Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. How to have the legacy fixed asset number, but still have the Automatic Asset Numbering enabled?

Hi,

We are trying to migrate the legacy fixed assets and the client has agreed on the Automatic Asset Numbering.

But regarding the existing ones, they want to maintain the legacy FA number somewhere.

What's the best approach? Where should it be stored?
