Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Is there a way to automate the process of creating new depreciation methods?

Hi,

Our client has requested to depreciate their fixed assets based on a straight-line method, but not the ones already in ORACLE.

These depreciation methods would have life in months as 31, 45 or other odd numbers that do not complete a full year.

My question is to understand if the process of creating these new methods can be automated, perhaps by uploading a file?
