SLM - Line Manager default onto Collaboration Team - Need to change Approver field default

Hi All,

The buyers Line Manager defaults onto the Collaboration Team and also defaults as an Approver.

We want to change the default so that the Approver checkbox is not checked, but I cannot seem to do this through personalization. I cannot seem to remove the checkbox either.

Any ideas??
