RSS - What is the maximum number of folders in the top level (level 0) of commodity code structure p

Hello MOSC,

In E1 Release 9.0, in Requisition Self Service RSS, does a limitation exist on the maximum number of folders that we can create in Commodity Code Program P40500?

The procurement department is proposing a commodity code structure that could have over 1,000 commodity codes at the top level (level 0) in the hierarchy. The lower levels in the hierarchy (levels 1 and 2) would have only a few sub-commodities (one to ten). The proposed design looks to me like an inverted pyramid.

I know in Procurement System 43, Sales 42, etc., the usual limit on records is 999 per document, in part because of the definition of the line number field. However, F40500 does not have line numbers so I am hoping that no limit exists on the number of commodities.
