Agile 9.3.4: Reset AutoNumber Source via SDK

We have an Agile SDK PX querying an autonumber source and it is running into the error message "SNPC AutoNumber reached the maximum limit. Please report this to your system administrator." where "SNPC AutoNumber" is the name of the auto number. I know there is a way to reset the auto number from Java client (by increasing the Number of characters or changing the starting number etc) Does any know if there is a way to reset this auto number series using SDK? Thanks in advance.
