Deleting a Campus Event Attendee Record

We have a scenario where a person with a duplicate ID was entered as an event attendee under both the correct ID and the duplicate ID.  The ID Delete  process has been run on the duplicate ID, which deleted the ID from the event attendee record.  Is there a way to now delete the invalid event attendee record where the ID is blank?  This event has not yet occurred, and the office planning the event would like to remove this duplicate attendee record.
