Purchasing attachment character limit for BOM or CTO configuration

Hello Everyone,

I have a question in Oracle Purchasing attachments. We have Oracle EBS 12.1.2 version. Also, we have back-to-back ordering process, i.e., once we progress the sales order lines it creates a Req and a PO.

We are using CTO (Configure to order) process. For which we have CTO item and its components.

For ex: ABC-100-2345667 - this is a CTO item.

And, this CTO item has several components:

level 0 ABC

level 1 XXXX-12343

level 2 XXXX-09877

So, in this case when PO gets created after the SO lines are progressed. Now, in the PO lines, we will have attachment where it contains components. Which has level, quantities, UOM, Part number and Part description.
