What would cause R3411 to not process Detail messages and set the Message Processed (MSGA) flag to E

Hi,

What would cause R3411 to set Message Processed flag (MSGA) of a detail message (F3411) to E status ?  I can't seem to find any reason R3411 should do that.  It is running off the scheduler at night.  After regenerating the messages, the R3411 runs fine from Batch Versions over the same message that failed over night.
