Create Bill of Lading issue

We have one rquirement in our system in which different BOL sequence number needs to generated for domestic and export shipment. Can you please let me know how to achieve this.

If in standard way it is not possible then  i am thiking of following solution:

1. Create personalization to update the BOL in table with different sequence number.

Can you please confirm if there is any app package which can be updated or insert the BOL number in table.
