Does DG support Heterogeneous?

Hello GURU's,

My prod is running in oracle solaris spark 64 bit. We are about to implement BI on a server which is running in OEL 64-bit with higher specs solaris server than our current prod server. Can i utilise it to implement standby? Will DG support primary in solaris and standby in OEL? My current db is running in 11.2.0.3 for ebs r12.2.4. I went through the MOS and google and got positive response. But i would to confirm with you once as well if i was misinterpreted.  Please advice.
