impact of changing root or oracle OS password

Hi Experts,

I have Linux 7 OS platform. Oracle 12c grid/RAC databases running on these Linux machines.

I am going to change the OS root,oracle and grid passwords. Please let me know what could be the impact of changing these passwords. And what are the things I need to check before and after password change to make sure everything running fine.
