FDM 11.1.2.2 to FDMEE 11.1.2.4 migration approach

Hello All,

We are looking forward to migrate from FDM 11.1.2.2 version to FDMEE 11.1.2.4 version. We already have  FDMEE 11.1.2.4 installed and configured in a new environment. When I went through couple of blogs, white papers(https://knowepmbi.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/fdm-to-fdmee-migration-step-by-step-guide/fdmtofdmee_migration_whitepaper/ ) and suggestions, I found using Oracle migration utility is a good idea. But to use Oracle migration utitlity I beleive we would also need ODI studio.

Now in one of the community discussions(  and More to life...: FDMEE 11.1.2.3 – ODI Console and Studio ) I found that ODI studio will be installed and configured along with FDMEE and can be accessed using the URL
