Where do I find the settings for Default Notifications? (Deviations about to Expire)

Hello all,

Regarding the deviation class related notifications, there is one called "Deviations about to Expire". I assume this notification is based on the "Effective To" field in the cover page section. How do I review the settings for when this notification is sent out? I'm guessing it's a certain amount of days, but if I wanted to create a new notification and use a different amount of days before the expiration date, could I do that using only the JAVA client?

Also, is there a way to apply an event-based notification to attribute fields not used in the default notifications provided? (Example, creating a new date-based notification for a new page 3 date attribute field vs. assigning the event type to the item subclass in general.)
