Asset Retirment Status not changed from PENDING

Hi

We are trying to partially retire an asset and the "CALCULATE GAIN and LOSS" is completing normally but when we try to query the asset it is PENDING.So we tried retiring another asset and the request got completed normally but when we try to query and select the "RETIRMENT" tab it shows "Transaction already in user by another user"

Please suggest.
