Inventory AS OF process has not been properly managed. Can I start over?

Inventory AS OF process has not been managed properly.  Extensive amounts of data integrity issues such as missing F4101 or F4102 records; GL class code changes after transactions have occurred.  UOM changes after transactions have posted.  Can I start from scratch?  Clear the F4111 and F4112  and create a custom progrm to re-load the on-hand balances at the cut-over to E9.2 from E8.12.  Current on-hand balances would be fairly accurate because Physical and cycle accounts occur regularly on a monthly or weekly basis at 40 warehouses.  On order quantities from open POs to remain open.  Open sales orders and work
