History in Quality management

Hi,

When activating the history log in P40318, from previous experience the whole set of tests goes to history: STAW=2.

Today I am seeing something different.

Ex: I have a preference profile for an item that contains 5 tests: 3 numeric and 2 alphanumeric with UDC 37/YN

when I add another numeric test to the profile, then in history I see 3 numeric tests and none of the alpha ones.

is this normal?

Shouldn't all 5 of them go to history except the new one? any documentation on this specifically?

PS: Workflow approval is on
