Deleting an entry from HSP_AUDIT_RECORDS

Our SOX auditors want to ensure that any deletions by the Hyperion administrator on the Hyperion SQL tables are captured through a reporting mechanism.  Our DBAs have developed a method to do so.  However, to test, I will need to make an entry through SmartView Planning Connection and manually delete from HSP_AUDIT_RECORDS using SQL. Will manually deleting the entry in HSP_AUDIT_RECORDS cause problems?
