Combining Native and AD users in Planning

Hello everyone,

My client has a Planning application; I'm not sure about the version but I've been told it probably is 11.1.2.1 (I had no chance to enter the system yet).

They use native directory users to access the application, but now they are considering accessing it using the AD users. In fact, they use AD users to access  HFM applications within the same EPM system instance, so the AD is already configured and working.

The question comes when you have users with the same user name both in the Native and in the AD. Say you have user.abc in Native Directory and they are provisioned to access your Planning applications. And you also have user.abc defined in your AD.
