changing the period is not effecting immediately in 9.2

Hi All,

we are facing problem in Finance, when we are changing the period to previous month, it is not effecting immediately, period is set to 01/01/2016 in the Company Names & Constants, the users are not able to enter any transactions before october, 2016. if we are clearing the all tables cache from server manager then it works. is it normal in 9.2?

in previous JDE E1 8.12 system no need to clear the cache, it effect immediately but in 9.2 has problem.

JDE E1 9.2 on Windows 2012 platform
