what will happend multiple patch in R12.2.4 ?

Hi what will happend if we apply multiple patches apply in adop session like patch A ,patche B and patch c

and if patch A applied succesfully applied and patch b fail with any pre-requite patch

like adop phase=apply patches=A,B,C

if A patch applied successsfully but patch B fail then how can i apply the pre-requites patch for B can i abort the patch session and apply all patches or is there any solution
