Error in Pre process rule

While running the pre-processing rules, we are getting this error in the log files

Vector-length is zero in function filter::meanstdev(...)

This is not aborting the script nor can we see any error in the pre-processing in front end. Can someone explain what error is getting logged?

Is it just because the data for meanstdev for some products is not present or is it some internal error code?
