acquire config times out

Password still remains the default of acme & packet, I have confirmed host name in redundancy config and bootparam matches, confirmed current and running config, wancom cables are cross-over and they are working yet acquire config still times out, has anyone seen this before. I am ruuning ECZ7.3.0 patch 2 (build 75) .
