Paid Sick Leave - Executive Order 13706 - Federally Funded Jobs

Executive Order 13706 goes into effect Jan 1, 2017. Requiring employers to accrue sick leave days for employees working on federally funded projects. Has anyone addressed this issue? Is there a cross over like using the setup for sick leave accrual like the state of California? Any guidance would be appreciated.
