Quality Management Prefereces/ Input QM test result using preference format

Hi, guys. Can you explain me how does it work?

Now i am working with QM.

Created hierarchy and preference profiles:

Hierarchy:

Preference profiles:

and when i enter test result in preference format for Item and Customer i see preferences not for only Item and Customer, and for Item Only with blank Branch\Plant and specific Branch\plant.

Is it logic JDE?
