DBCA - A database instance with Oracle system identifier(SID) "xxx" already running on this machine.
Hi!
I don't know if this question is right here.
It's about DBCA, which I run the first time on a Solais (x86) host and get this error:
A database instance with Oracle system identifier(SID) "xxx" already running on this machine. Specify another SID.
no matter which SID i choose!
This is a fresh installed Solaris Zone, so there is nothing in the /var/opt/oracle/oratab:
root@orazonet1:/var/opt/oracle# cat oratab

# This file is used by ORACLE utilities. It is created by root.sh
# and updated by either Database Configuration Assistant while creating
# a database or ASM Configuration Assistant while creating ASM instance.
