Forecast results shown in iSupplier portal

Is it necessary to create a separate plan in ASCP for displaying correct forecast for item/Supplier in the iSupplier portal?  Seeing discrepancies in the SCP Workbench compared to iSupplier portal for forecast in monthly buckets for Planned orders.  Am thinking we're not comparing 'apples to apples' for the data.    R12.1.3.  Forecast is loaded into Oracle using outside application, then loaded to iSupplier once/month.  We do not use Collaboration Planning.
