Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Audit trail : table AUD$ abnormally big

Hi,

For one of our softwares, the size of table AUD$ is 5Gb (for other softwares the size is smaller).

Why did that table become som big ? I don't know.

AUDIT TRAIL is activated by default starting from 11g.

I would like to to disable it, since I have no need for it.

According to you what is the risk of disabling audit trail ?
