Capitalising Costs

Hello

A client has set up a non capital Project in error which has now accumulated expenditure.  They would like to capitalise these Expenditures and wondered if this was possible?

I'm assuming the answer would be no and a new Capital  project would have to be set up and then the costs transferred across to get them Capitalised but thought I would ask the question.
