Applying 11.2.0.4 patchsets to databases on ODA

Hi all....

We are running several databases on an ODA(X4-2) at patchset 12.1.2.6 and since we initially setup the ODA about 3 years ago we have applied the new patchsets to the INFRA and GI, but never applied the database patchset to the existing Oracle Homes.  We opted not to do the database patchset because we have several databases that are running out of the same oracle home and it is difficult to schedule a common window to apply the patch at the oracle home level.

We have installed the RDBMS clone for 11.2.0.4.160119 home(OraDb11204_home4) and would like to 'upgrade' the databases to this new home to get the databases to that patchset.  When we run the command to do the 'upgrade' on a specific database, it fails:
