NPD project search: project not searchable without project leader

Hi,

we just noticed that in 6.2.1 release on NPD project search it is not possible to search for a project that doesn't have the project leader.

Basically, by leaving blank the project leader information on NPD project summary tab, than the project it is no more display in the NPD project search; no matter which is the search criteria. The project owner it is not able to see it from the project search as well.

Which is the reason of this behaviour?

How could I setup the system to show all the project in the project search page?
