Create Delivery for Staged Quantities

Hi all,

My client is using 12.2.5.

I'm trying to utilize the above Ship Confirm option, but it's not working as I expect it to work.

I have 1 SO line with quantity of 10. I release it and pick it (Transact Move Order).

In the Shipping Transactions Form, I enter 2 under the "Shipping Qty" column; then the "Backordered Quantity" becomes 8.

When I go to ship confirm, I select the following:

1. Ship Options -> Ship Entered Quantities -> Unspecified Quantities: Stage

2. I check the checkbox for "Create Deliveries for Staged Quantities".

I would expect that the split line will stay in "Staged/Pick Confirmed" status and will get a new delivery number, but the split line becomes Backordered without any new delivery number.
