R31410 for configured items; change Line Type to T per Sales/Config tab - has this requirement dropp

When I run the R31410, with the Sales/Config tab set to change the line type to T, the line type is not updating.  The T is in the acceptable Order Activity Rules.  Has this requirement changed to prevent double demand on the component lines?
