Space Manager - Level Name Change

We currently use Space Manager very limited - for Common Area & Leased Area.  We do not utilize any uCAD or AutoVue.

We have populated the levels to include Building Name, Level Name, Floor Number, etc.  As a project progresses, there is a need to change the building name (which in-turn affects the Level Name).  In testing this the change doesn't populate into the Common Area/Leased Area associated with it.

What is the best approach for this?  If we inactivate the current level record, there is no way to inactivate the Common Area/Leased Area record.
