Trouble updating Expense Item description on Expense Report (Internet Expenses)

Hi, can someone please be able to help with some advice. We will be moving to Oracle Internet Expenses in early April 2017. I am in the processing of building OIE on our test environment. We are on version 12.1.3. I have set up the expenses report template via payables to be accessed through Internet Expenses but I need to update the expense item description of a previously set up item. Please see attached screenshot.  It looks to be limited to 40 characters. Is there any of updating the expense item attributes so that the description can be more than
