F5 + JDE on ISERIES Issue....Any experts out there?

Hi All,

We are running JDE 9.2 / TR 9.2 and we currently have 2 JAS ports running on WAS Epxress 8.5.10 on our V7 AS400. The 2 ports work as expected when we "direct browse" to them.

We've now installed an F5 appliance and configured the two instance to be in a cluster.  The problem is that the F5 will send sessions to both instances/ports(TCP Capture tracing) BUT when it hits the WAS or HTTP side ALL sessions seem to be then "re-allocated" to the one JAS port. We've never seen sessions across the two!

Has anyone seen this behaviour or got any clues as to why this might be happening? To me, it looks like the "Traffic" coming from the F5 doesn't get recognised in the way it should and WAS simply puts the session on the highest port that has an application instance running.

Howdy, Stranger!
