How to exclude Interest from tax calculation?

Hi,

We are using Lease and Finance Management R12, financial product Loan (we also tried to use financial product 'Direct Finance Lease' but the rent amount is not divided in principal and interest ).

The Invoice generated for the customer is divided in principal and interest, but in our country, the tax should be calculated only for the principal line.

In the current situation, when the invoice is generatedthe tax is calculated for both principal and interest lines.

What steps should we follow to exclude Interest line from tax calculation?
