datapump imp takes longer on raid 10 than on raid 5

We are in process of refreshing the hardware from Solaris to Linux for Peoplsoft Financial Application . Since this is different endian format we have to dpexp/dpimp  the data. We are in the testing phase of dpexp/dpimp . When we ran the test on raid 5  has 5+1 disk 600 RPM and raid 10 8+8 disk 600 RPM the back end is Hitachi  HUS130. the DB size is about 150 G . it takes about 4 hrs 28 min on raid 5 and it takes about 5 hrs 37 min on raid 10. I feel like importing 150 G DB
