Bulk Load of UDA records using API/Excel Spreadsheet

Hi all,

We have recently installed SLM, and have created a number of UDA pages (both Common and Product & Service Category) for data that we collect from our suppliers.  I'm examining means to bulk load/update the pages.

I can successfully create/update UDA records by directly using the POS_SUP_PROF_EXT_INTF interface table. However, when trying to use the Excel Spreadsheet method, I have run into the following:

1. From what I can tell, the Excel spreadsheet can only be used to mass update existing UDA records, not create new ones. 
2. It seems like each spreadsheet is “one use” only.  You get the spreadsheet pre-loaded with the supplier data, and then you can use the spreadsheet to update it and reload it.  The spreadsheet will only work for the suppliers that it came loaded with.  When I have tried adding different (valid) suppliers to the spreadsheet, the WebADI always fails to load the data to the API interface tables.
