Is there any other alternative to Association project and task to pm workorders instead of associati

Is there any way to have a project and task assigned to an asset activity up front so that when PM's are generated, they don't have to put the charging project and task on each WO then?

Or some other way with WIP Accounting class?  But not sure WIP Accounting class is project and task oriented or not.  And I'm not familiar with how WIP Accounting class works.
