US Pay: Name of GRE changing effective 12/31/16 and need 2016 W2 to reflect new name
We are changing the name of one of our GRE from "XXXXX, Inc." to "XXXXX, LLC" effective 12/31/16. Our tax department would like the employee assignments to reflect the old GRE name prior to the effective date. Since organization is not date tracked, we will have to create a new GRE with the new name and copy any relevant GRE level variables from the old GRE. The problem is that we would also like the 2016 W2 to reflect the new name even though all payrolls in the year were made under the old name. Is there a way to
