GL daily rates is defined per Ledger/MO or per apps installation

Hi

We have 2 different companies with two different functional currency.

Each company has it own Operating Unit and Ledger and separate GL responsibility.

Both companies are on the same server.

What we noticed is that when we define a daily rate for Company A for a specific currency ,we see the same defined in Company B when we log in to GL of the Company B.

Is this normal, is the GL daily rates are per installation like Customer and Supplier definition or this is a bug?
