we are getting ER09 error while importing journal through WEBADI, our open period is Dec-16, next op

we are getting ER09 error while importing journal through WEBADI, our open period is Dec-16, next open period is ADJ-16 and JAN-17 is never opened. our auto reversal criteria set for accrual-Reversing is "Next non adjustment period" as next reversal period .Please someone advise ASAP.
