2016 ACA - New Reporting Year field on Plan EIT
In the 2016 ACA Phase 1 release, a new field "Reporting Year" was added to the Plan Extra-Information Type screen. They also added a new field "Spouse Offer Conditional".
My question is, what is the best practice for setting this up? It sounds like you can leave Reporting Year blank (as it currently comes up) and the system will use that for all years. If you don't anticipate any of the other fields on the EIT screen ever changing, is it okay to not input a Reporting Year so that you don't have to update your medical Plans each year?
