RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_DISK_2 channel at 12/22/2016 22:09:10

Not always but occasionally we are seeing the following errors during RMAN hot backups.

But, next backup that runs later completes without any errors. Full hot backup is run daily. Also we backup archived logs only when number of archived logs reached 20.

Last night the error occurred when backing up the archive logs. Later the full hot backup ran with no errors.

Even with errors, the backup seems to be a complete. There is no trace file created related to this error..

We are not sure why exactly this is happening. Please help. Let me know if additional information needed...
