IFRevaluation Journal not reversal what is impact on financials

Hi Friends,

I have question regarding Revaluation Journal.

When we run the revaluation for month end system has generated Revaluation journal.

Is is mandatory to reverse in Next open period?

If we not reversed  what is impact of financials( P/L Account and Balance sheet)

if we reversed what is impact of financials( P/L Account and Balance sheet)

Please explain me in detail
