Implementing Virtual hostnames for EBS DB which are already running on Exadata

Hi all,

EBS 11.5.10.2(With LB)

DB 11.2.0.4 with Database on 2 Node RAC in EXADATA

My customer will upgrade of EBS to 12.2.5(With LB) and DB to 12.1.0.2,

where in they are also trying to implement the Virtual Hosts during the upgrade.

As per Doc ID 2088692.1

1) New installation of EBS + Database + Clusterware

2) The database hosts can be changed so "hostname" and "uname -n" commands return the logical name

But, both of these cannot apply to customer because:

1) performing an upgrade of an existing EBS environment from 11 to 12.2.5, and during this upgrade they wish to configure the EBS environment for Disaster Recovery with a physical standby database.
